The Way I Want to Touch You

"The Way I Want to Touch You" is a song by Captain and Tennille. The song was written by Toni Tennille and had been released on both the Butterscotch Castle and the Joyce record labels in 1974 before being included on the duo's Love Will Keep Us Together album in 1975. "The Way I Want to Touch You" was the duo's follow-up to their chart-topping hit, "Love Will Keep Us Together". It peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and became their second number one on the Easy Listening chart.[1]

Captain & Tennille later recorded this song in Spanish, entitled "Como Yo Quiero Sentirte", for the Spanish version of their debut album Por Amor Viviremos. In 1995, they re-recorded the song for their album, 20 Years of Romance.
